Go to the Walking Tour Site #1-The Methodist Church

At the bottom you will see photos, a map and history of some of the earliest homes built in town on North Jefferson Street (then it was named Fitch Street) 379 N. Jefferson still stands in 2025, the original home of Dr. GH Evans, then the Kerr family. It appears to be eligible for the National Register of Historic Places.
